Here’s the road trip I got planned for Andrea, Lester and I:
- Thursday night: Seattle to Spokane
- Friday: Spokane to Billings, stop in Missoula, Bozeman
- Saturday: Billings to Badland–might stay here
- Sunday: Badlands to St. Peter (parent’s house)
- Monday: St. Peter to Twin Cities (sister, etc)
- Tuesday: Twin Cities to Chicago (stop at Grandma’s in Madison for lunch)
Here’s a map of the trip…Andrea will be in Chicago for till the following weekend, so that should be fun too!

I have often wondered how this world would have turned out if Wall Drug had evolved into Walmart instead of what’s his Sam’s name. Physicists would be making road signs instead of theory or particle board or condensation or whatever they do. P.S. This really is Barbara.

First off, it is well-known that evolution only effects monkeys, not drug stores.
Thirdly, the pharmacist at my local Walgreens is a ring-tailed lemur who swears on his life that his uncle really was a monkey.
And secondly, the above two sentences do not, obviously, apply to monkeys who ride unicycles.
